Role Overview
3Cs Aquarah is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our technical team. The successful candidate will support the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of secure and scalable web applications and digital solutions.
This role is ideal for a developer with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development who is eager to build practical solutions, solve technical problems, and grow within a fast-paced cybersecurity and technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
- Build and integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Support the design and management of application databases.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Support application deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay informed about relevant technologies, development practices, and emerging trends.
- Carry out other technical responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrable experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Proficiency in relevant front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern JavaScript framework.
- Working knowledge of back-end development technologies and frameworks.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Basic understanding of application security and secure coding principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and solve problems independently.
- Strong willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying applications to cloud or modern hosting environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, containers, or DevOps practices.
- Previous experience working in cybersecurity or technology-focused environments.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating relevant development projects.
